University College of Fine Arts and Music is a constituent college of Karnatak University, Dharwad. This college is located in the campus of 55 acres of hill with ever green natural vegetation . This College, well known as KCD (now Karnatak Science College, Karnatak Arts College and Karnatak University College of Fine Arts and Music), has produced many eminent personalities over the years.

The Karnatak College Dharwad was founded in the year 1917 by the noble efforts of the Late Diwan Bahadur Rodda Shriniwasrao and Rao Bahadur R.S.Artal. It was then upgraded as a First Grade College during the year 1920. In the year 1958, the Karnatak University took over the College for running it as a Model College, bifurcating it for administrative purposes. Read More
